Performing tasks & responsibilities

– Develop optimisation strategies that increase the company’s search engine results rankings
– Translate & revise the marketing strategy into measurable SEO goals & actionable strategies (across Shippr’s operational regions & beyond)
– Manage SEO projects through planning to execution
– SEO copywriting maintaining style & tone of voice of Shippr
– Write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions SEO driven in collaboration with the Content Marketeer
– Work with other teams to provide guidance for collaborators to include SEO in their own production
– Audit, update & maintain Shippr tools for continuous SEO improvement: website, backlinks, …
– Create and manage backlinking strategy to improve our website authority
– Monitor market, competitors, ranking, analyse trends and organic search, SEO news, algorithm updates
– Review, monitor & develop strategies for user experience & conversion rate optimization (CRO) for improving website performance and traffic
– Setup goals completions and report on results & SEO strategies
– Collaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategy like working together with SEA specialist to improve PPC campaigns or coordinate with Content Marketeer for content

Requirements

– BS/MS degree in a quantitative, test-driven field
– MUST be Fluent in FR and EN (fluency in Dutch is a plus)
– In-depth knowledge of keywords research
– SEO copywriting
– In-depth knowledge of the behaviours of search engines
– Prior experience in content marketing, content growth and SEO
– Working knowledge of search engine optimisation practices
– Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems
– Excellent verbal and written communication skill
– Ability to work within a team and independently
– Familiarisation Google Search Console, Google analytics, SEMrush or other analytics tools
– Experience with website optimisation tools
– Strong organisational, time management, and research/analytical skills
Backlinks master
– Comfortable analysing high volumes of data on a daily basis
– Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
– The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, and related skills
– A deep understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO
– A solid grasp of how blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies go hand-in-hand with SEO
– Experience in building inbound organic search traffic and improving SERPs
– A commitment to keeping your technical skills and knowledge up to date
– An inquisitive mind which drives you to understand Search Engine’s algorithms and predict what changes might be coming
