We’re Creative Fabrica. A fast growing scale-up based in Amsterdam. Our platform is used by more than 800K users from all over the world to get digital assets for their crafting projects. Currently, we have 7+ million monthly page views and over 1+ million product pages – a number that’s increasing by ~2.000 per day due to our accelerating growth.
A big chunk of our traffic currently already comes from search, so we want to capitalize on that opportunity by bringing in a true expert who can bring our SEO-game up a couple levels. Are you interested in doing SEO at scale and do you not shy away from complexity? Read on!

What will you be doing?
As our Senior SEO Specialist you will be the “Center of Excellence” in our company when it comes to SEO. You will work closely together with the Head of Growth and the development team. As SEO specialist, you will have full responsibility over everything regarding SEO.
Let’s sum up what you will be doing, among other things:
- Define and implement the complete SEO strategy for the company based on a thorough analysis (on-page-, off-site- and especially technical).
- Set up and define a strong competitive link building strategy.
- Determine how programmatic SEO would best work for us.
- Advise, spot gaps and proactively recognize opportunities when it comes to business impact through SEO.
- Focus on crawlability, site architecture and site content.
- Manage keyword rank tracking and reporting.
- Set up an experimentation program for SEO.

The kind of person we are looking for:
Some of these elements we consider crucial, others good to have. You will be doing a range of activities matching these skills/abilities:
- Proven experience in technical SEO (minimum 5+ years) on large websites.
- Proven experience in keyword analysis for large websites/eCommerce websites. It’s a plus if you have affinity with or experience in the crafting space.
- Proven experience in setting up link building strategies for large websites.
- Knowledge of marketplaces and eCommerce platforms.
- Demonstrable track record of business results through SEO.
- Previous experience with setting up company wide SEO strategy integrating all aspects (incl.: on-page, off-site and technical SEO).
- The ability to perform thorough, detailed website analysis, identifying current problems and opportunities, with a focus on crawlability, site architecture, and keyword relevance. And being able to prioritize autonomously to the touch upon the high impact/low effort tasks first.
- An eagerness to follow and stay up to date with the latest trends in SEO, industry best practices, algorithm changes and possess up-to-date knowledge on what practices to avoid/what changes will have the most impact.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (and its constraints).
- The ability to deal with large datasets and have proficiency with Excel.
- Knowledge on how to set up an experimentation program for SEO. An understanding of statistics is a plus.
